Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Mama Lyons is obligated to complete only the tasks assigned and listed for the specific type of cleaning service booked by the Client (e.g., Standard Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning, Turnover Cleaning).

Each cleaning type has a defined checklist outlining what is included. Services are limited strictly to those listed items.

2. Flat-Rate Pricing & Service Limitations

Mama Lyons offers a low-cost flat-rate cleaning service, which is designed to cover only the items included in the selected cleaning package.

  • Flat-rate pricing does not include:

    • Additional tasks not listed in the selected cleaning type

    • Specialty services unless explicitly stated

    • Tasks requiring excessive time beyond normal conditions

Any services outside the listed scope must be pre-arranged in writing prior to the appointment and may incur additional charges.

3. Additional Services & Upcharges

If the Client requests additional services that were not part of the original booking, Mama Lyons will:

  • Inform the Client whether the request can be accommodated

  • Provide pricing for the additional service

  • Proceed only upon Client approval

Additional services requested on-site are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

4. Excessively Dirty Conditions

If cleaners arrive at a property that is deemed excessively dirty, unsanitary, or outside normal cleaning conditions, Mama Lyons reserves the right to:

  • Pause the cleaning service

  • Discuss available cleaning options with the Client

  • Apply an upcharge, adjust the service scope, or recommend a different service type

  • Decline to proceed if conditions pose health, safety, or time constraints

Examples of excessively dirty conditions include, but are not limited to:

  • Heavy grease or buildup beyond standard cleaning

  • Excessive trash, biohazards, or pest evidence

  • Severe neglect or unsafe working conditions

5. Access & Preparation

The Client is responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe and timely access to the property

  • Utilities (water and electricity) are available

  • Personal items are secured

Mama Lyons does not move heavy furniture or remove personal belongings unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.

6. Satisfaction & Re-Service Policy

If the Client believes an item within the booked service scope was missed, they must notify Mama Lyons within 24 hours of service completion. We will review the concern and, if appropriate, arrange a re-service for the missed item.

Requests outside the original scope are not eligible for complimentary re-service.

7. Payment & Cancellations

Payment is due as outlined at the time of booking.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to fees as disclosed during scheduling.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a cleaning appointment with Mama Lyons Home Cleaning Service, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cleaning Service Agreement and its terms.
